 Classic trading cards from the early 1980's. The 1981 Blue back series of football trading cards were the second and final version of these smaller trading cards produced by Topps. As normal these cards were given away with Topps Chewing gum and were originally linked together in 3's. Each set of 3 cards was then perforated to allow them to be split (this sometimes caused small rips on the edges or if the collector was a little more carefull they were cut alongt he perforation). The set was a total of 187 smaller cards featuring the very best in English footballers as well as Home International stars.
