ASTON VILLA - Andy Townsend. Superb card from the 1996 MERLIN Premier League series. This was a main card set of just 66 cards with a subset of 22. The main set included normal action photo shots and at least one card with a caricature of one of the teams top players. The subset was somewhat unusual as it featured push out cards whereby the player pushed out to enable the card to stand up. On the reverse of the card it gave the normal info on the players (age, goals etc....). The trading card series as normal was endorsed by the FA Premier League and are great quality.
