Superb collectable trading card produced for the release of "The Gem", this was another weekly magazine/newspaper produced in the early 1900's containing stories for boys. The magazine like its competition such as "The Magnet" and "The Champion" released collectable football cards. This card features Charles Flood "The famous inside-left who has recently transferred from Hull City to Bolton Wanderers. The cards are half the normal cigarette card side as they were produced in pairs, this means that the one edge is not always straight.
