 Cigarette card from the 1936 “Popular Footballers” series. This series of 48 cigarette cards was issued by Carrera Limited of London. Each card has a glossy photo of the head and shoulders of some of the great players of the mid 1930’s. On reverse of the card there is a small description of the player concerned as well as the issuing companies details. An album was available from tobacconists for the cost of one penny.
