ENGLAND - Bob Crompton #234 "Sun Soccercards" 1979 Collectable Trading Card

Collectable trading card from 1979 series entitled “Sun Soccercards”. This was a massive series of 1,000 cigarette sized trading cards. The set was given away with the popular UK red top newspaper by collecting a series of tokens. The set includes all the teams in the Scottish Leagues, English Leagues and International Teams. It also includes a series of country flags denoting the international teams of FIFA. The front of the cards features an extremely crude caricature of the player concerned whilst the reverse gives information on the players/teams featured.
