Frank Goddard #29 - "Sporting Champions" 1922 Collectable card from "The Champion"

 Superb collectable trading card produced for the release of "The Champion" on 12/08/1922. These cards were given away with this weekly magazine/newspaper for boys which featured great adventure stories in the early part of the 1900's . The Magazine featured these collectable cards and this series was entitled "Sporting Champions" and came with 2 small photo's attached to one another, these could then be seperated to form the 2 small cards (therefore edges on one side are not always straight).  This card features the English heavyweight boxer Frank Goddard.
