 Original card from the 1928  series by John Player & Sons, this series of 50 cigarette cards were given away in the cigarette packets from  the time in Great Britain and Ireland. This series entitled "Footballers 1928" featured major players of the day from football (soccer) as well as Rugby. The rear of each card has a description of the players career  in green writing . Cards are in good condition with nice strong corners.
