 Classic cigarette card from the series issued in 1935 by Ardath Cork Cigarettes entitled "Cricket, Tennis & Golf Celebrities". This series of 50 cards was produced in the UK and New Zealand, the UK ones have a grey back where as the rarer New Zealand ones are borwn backed. Each card features a head and shoulders photo of a star of the the time with a comprehensive description of their career up to date. The surface of the rear of these cards were adhesive to enable them to be stuck into a collectable booklet. Great card in great condition.
