SURREY & ENGLAND - H Strudwick #22 "The Champion" Sporting Champions 1922 Trading Card

 Top class card from the 1922 "The Champion" Sporting Champions series. This card set was given away with the popular boys magazine in the early 1900's. Not sure on the total amount of cardin this series, and as one card was given away each week it was a neat idea on how to ensure your readership for a set period of time.

Each card has a famous cricketer from the period from the English game. The rear of the card shows the players name, their county team and if they played for England. The card also featured the date of issue in the magazine as well as the player to appear in the next weeks issue. As you would expect these cards are not mint but they are in Very good condition, if you are not happy with your purchase we will refund within 7 days if returned to us.
