WEST BROMWICH ALBION - "The Throstles" PEPYS 2nd Edition "GOAL!" The Soccer Card Game 1964 Card

 Unusual card from the PEPYS 1964/65 "Goal!" Soccer Card Game. This was probably one of the first card games based around football that came out originally in 1959/60. Each card features a top side from the British leagues, showing the teams strip of the day, team badge as well as the teams nickname and which stadium they played at. The rear of the card simply shows a green and white image of a ball hitting a goal net. The full set consisted of 44 soccer players one from each team in the top divisions.
